WHY JUNGLE BOX?
The main idea was to create something new and different. In our modern society, we are all confronted with stress and anxiety due to our hectic lifestyles and work schedules.
JUNGLE BOX was thought to be a functional training studio, aiming to create a bridge between urban life and our jungle, valuing functionality, performance and long-term sustainability.
WHAT SETS JUNGLE BOX APART FROM OTHER SPORTS/FITNESS CENTERS?
JUNGLE BOX aims to reconnect you to your natural instincts and your inborn capabilities through exercise and movement, while promoting physical and mental harmony and development.
What also makes the JUNGLE BOX experience truly special is its lush, tropical environment.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS CONCEPT?
Our concept offers a variety of exercises designed to improve strength, endurance, mobility, stability, flexibility and coordination. This approach also helps reduce the risk of injury.
WHAT ARE JUNGLE BOX OPENING HOURS?
We’re open Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO JUNGLE BOX?
The easiest way to get to JUNGLE BOX is on foot or by bike. You can also take public transport directly to our studio.
You can also come by car via the main motorways, there are several visitor parking spots available right in front of the building, and there si a public parking lot just across the road from us next to the Bellerive swimming pool and Vidy theater.
CAN I BRING MY PHONE WITH ME TO CLASS?
We do not allow you to bring your phone with you during your lessons for safety reasons and to avoid distracting other participants. We know how vital it can be to keep your phone with you, but please, during that hour when you’re with us, keep it safe in your locker.
HOW DO I PRIVATIZE JUNGLE BOX?
If you would like to use our studio for events, team building or product marketing, please send us an e-mail to welcome@junglebox.ch with all the necessary information.
Membership and prices
CAN I TRANSFER OR SHARE MY PACK AND/OR SUBSCRIPTION?
JUNGLE BOX offers the possibility of transferring or sharing your packs or subscriptions, but only under certain conditions. You can transfer your pack to another person if you can’t use it yourself.
You can also share your subscription with a friend or family member, depending on the type of subscription. All transfers must be authorized by JUNGLE BOX and comply with its terms and conditions.

IS THERE A PAY-PER-COURSE OPTION?

CAN I SUSPEND MY SUBSCRIPTION?
In the event of illness, accident, death, pregnancy, redundancy or professional transfer abroad, you may suspend your subscription or receive a refund in certain cases. To do so, you must send us all the information we need to process your request to the following e-mail address: welcome@junglebox.ch.
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS?
We offer a 10% discount on all our small group training and personal training courses for students/unemployed people/AVS beneficiaries/AI beneficiaries.
Please provide us with proof of your status.
DO YOU OFFER TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR COMPANIES?
Absolutely! At JUNGLE BOX we offer training packages specially designed for companies, for your events or for team building experiences.

WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR BUYING CLASSES?
Several options are available for you: you can take small group training sessions in the form of packs or subscriptions with a minimum 4-month commitment, you can also purchase personal trainings and/or semi-personal trainings (2 people) in the form of packs and subscriptions. It goes without saying that the more sessions you buy, the lower is the price per session.

DO YOU OFFER FREE TRIAL SESSIONS?
At JUNGLE BOX, we don’t offer free trial sessions.
However, we do offer flexible options so you can experience our stimulating workouts at an affordable, no-obligation rate.

WHEN DO MY CREDITS EXPIRE?
All credits have an expiry date and cannot be used after this date. Please check our website for information on current packs and their respective expiry dates.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO BOOK LESSONS?
You need a JUNGLE BOX Momence account to book a session.
WHAT TYPES OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?
At JUNGLE BOX, we offer a variety of courses to suit your needs, preferences and goals.
Here are some of the types of courses we offer:
- Small group training: JUNGLE ATHLETIC, JUNGLE BURN, JUNGLE CORE, GORILLA MOTION, JUNGLE STRENGTH, JUNGLE RUN, JUNGLE MOBILITY, JUNGLE RECHARGE, JUNGLE YOGA.
- Individual or semi-individual (duo) personal training sessions.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR PARTICIPATION?
There’s no age limit for our small group and personal training classes at JUNGLE BOX. Our sessions are also designed to suit different levels.
DO YOU OFFER SMALL-GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN?
JUNGLE BOX offers small group training sessions for children and teenagers, adapted to their age group:
- For children aged 3 to 7
- For pre-teens aged 7 to 12
- For teenagers aged 12 to 16.
These sessions are led by qualified instructors and designed to be both fun and educational. These classes are an excellent opportunity for your children to develop their strength, coordination and self-confidence.
Be sure to provide us with parental permission for your child to take part in our sessions.
HOW CAN I BOOK A SESSION?
To book a session at JUNGLE BOX, you need to create an online Momence account, which will enable you to personalize your booking. You can then purchase credits online and book sessions at the date and time of your choice.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
To book your session, please consult our online schedule or contact our team. Our time slots fill up quickly, so be sure to book well in advance so your participation can be guaranteed.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?
JUNGLE BOX sessions last 45 minutes. It’s the ideal time for you to work up a sweat, challenge yourself and get back in shape!
SHOULD I BRING A TOWEL?
We recommend that you bring a towel, as our sessions are intense and dynamic. On top of that, your towel helps maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all our members.
HOW LONG BEFORE THE SESSION DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?
We advise you to arrive about 15 minutes before the begging time of your session, so that you have time to change, fill up your water bottle and join us in the studio.
It is not possible to enter the JUNGLE BOX studio once the session has started. JUNGLE BOX reserves the right to refuse entry to latecomers as to not disturb the coach leading the class and the participants of the class.
ARE THERE LEVEL GROUPS?
Don’t worry!
Our sessions are adapted to all levels. We make sure that everyone, experienced or not, feels at ease and can progress at his or her own pace to get the most out of the experience. We’ll always take the time to explain the basics so that you can perform the movements without risk of injury…
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME?
We recommend around 4 classes a week, with a minimum of 3 classes a week if you hope to achieve visible results quickly. But, as always, listen to your body: if your muscles are very sore, give them some time to recover.
HOW MANY CALORIES WILL I REALLY BURN?
Individual results vary. Depending on your weight and the effort involved, you can burn between 700 and 1,000 calories per class. But that’s not all. Vigorous participation can also increase your resting metabolic rate, so you can burn more calories even after you’ve left JUNGLE BOX. We call this “after-burning”.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR A SESSION?
For training, you’ll need your radiant smile, your good mood, light sportswear and a good dose of motivation!
Remember to bring a bottle of water, a towel and a pair of shoes dedicated to your indoor training sessions, the last point is very important to keep our studio clean and safe for our memebers and staff.
HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS ARE THERE IN A SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASS?
Our small group training classes are given to a minimum number of 3 participants and are limited to a maximum number of 12. However, we esteem that the optimum number of participants for a small group training session is around 8. This limited number of participants guarantees an effective, motivating and safe experience. Instructors can provide personalized attention to each individual.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE I SEE A DIFFERENCE WITH YOUR CLASSES?
Our training protocols at JUNGLE BOX aim to achieve visible results in 12 weeks, alongside a balanced diet.
If you have specific questions about your goals or how to maximize your results, don’t hesitate to talk to our instructors/coaches. They’re here to help you achieve your goals and support you throughout your experience.
I'M PREGNANT. CAN I TAKE PART IN YOUR SESSIONS?
If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor or specialist before registering for the course, in order to be sure that physical excercise is approved for your by the doctor in charge of your pregnancy follow up process.
We can then advise you on the choice of appropriate type of small group class or type of private session. Please also make sure that you inform the instructors about your pregnancy, so that they suggest different variations of excercises suitable for your condition.
WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?
We adapt to the needs of our members. We all speak French, but we can also offer our services in English. As for pilates and yoga classes, our instructors mostly teach in English, but can also teach in French, depending on the demand.
Installations and equipment
WHY AREN'T THERE ANY MACHINES DEDICATED TO BODYBUILDING?
At JUNGLE BOX, we believe that the real bodybuilding machine is you! The concept differs from that of traditional gyms as we focus on functional and other training methods that stimulate the body and the mind at the same time, building bridges between the two.
All our classes are based on a combination of exercises with free weights, with the weight of one’s own body, in-suspension technics and the use of multifunctional equipment.
DO YOU HAVE CHANGING ROOMS AND SHOWERS AVAILABLE?
Absolutely! At JUNGLE BOX, we have changing rooms available for all our members, with lockers, showers and sanitary facilities.
The storage of personal belongings in the lockers of the changing rooms of our studio is not allowed, in order to ensure the safety, comfort and cleanliness of our training space.
Please note that JUNGLE BOX is not responsible for any personal belongings that you may bring with you into the locker rooms, so be sure to lock your locker and take your wristband and key with you.
CAN I BRING MY BIKE?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to park or store your bike in our studio. However, there are plenty of bicycle parking spaces in front of the building where JUNGLE BOX is located.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE IN THE STUDIO?
Our JUNGLE BOX studio offers a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment to meet your needs. The equipment has been carefully selected to offer you a complete and effective training experience.
DO YOU SUPPLY TOWELS?
At JUNGLE BOX we do not provide towels for various reasons. We encourage you to bring your own towels for your personal comfort during your training sessions.
DO YOU SUPPLY WATER?
We advise you to bring your own water bottle or flask, which you can refilled in the locker room.
DOES THE STUDIO HAVE PARKING?
Our studio offers a variety of parking options. You can park in front of the building on visitor parking spots, otherwise public parking lots are just across the road from us close to Bellerive swimming pool and Vidy theater.

All our JUNGLE BOX instructors/coaches are certified and experienced professionals in the fields of functional training, yoga and pilates.

Reservations and cancellations...
WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION CONDITIONS?
To enable as many people as possible to take part in the JUNGLE BOX experience in the best possible conditions, you can modify or cancel your session at least 24 hours in advance without losing your class credit and/or without paying any penalty fees. Unfortunately, we cannot re-credit your account passed the 24 hours deadline.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK A COURSE?
We recommend that you book your small group training course as early as possible. However, you can book last minute as well, provided there are spots available. As our classes are in high demand and places are limited, it’s always best to book in advance to guarantee your participation.
CAN I RESCHEDULE A CLASS IF SOMETHING COMES UP?
Absolutely, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. You have the option of rescheduling your class free of charge. However, please note that your cancellation must be made at least 24 hours in advance to benefit from this option without losing your class credit. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you still have the option of rescheduling your class, but unfortunately we will not be able to re-credit your account.
